WBS Mission Statement
Our mission is to increase awareness and appreciation of wood burnt art by helping artists publicize their work, increase their web presence, build their skills, and by giving them a vibrant community where they can connect with each other in meaningful ways.
WBS Vision of the Future
Wood burned artwork would be appreciated and respected in the same manner as watercolor painting, oil painting, pen & ink, and the other traditional art techniques. Our wood burned masterpieces would be hung in the most prestigious galleries and museums for the public to enjoy. Our community of wood burning artists would be filled with many people from different backgrounds that are eager to learn the techniques and share their creativity.
